BACK IN THE STUDIO

As I’m typing this, I am sitting at my desk in my studio thinking about everything that I’m dreaming of for 2021… The list of things that I don’t want from last year is far too long, so I’m just going to focus on my top aspirations for this year.

I would love to finally see the world start to heal. All of my fingers are crossed for the Covid vaccine, so that we can all start to make a turn for the better.

I can’t wait to travel again… Although that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen anytime soon! Regardless, I’m an idealist at heart and I will continue to dream and droll over the most gorgeous places in the world. I will continue to pretend to pack my imaginary suitcase, as if I’m about to fly somewhere fabulous at any minute! I’ll also keep checking in on my community at large. I’m so very fortunate to have clients, customers, and wonderful friends all over the world. Hearing your stories and knowing how everyone is going in your part of the world, really keeps me feeling connected.

The biggest thing that I aspire towards this year is to continue creating. It’s the one thing that grounds me and gives me enormous purpose. It’s also the one thing that I can truly share with everyone. I’ve always said that the reason I love to draw is to make other people happy. If just one person feels inspired or good after seeing my work, then my job is done!
