Australian label Leo Lin has been one of my favourite designers for a while, their attention to detail and ability to transform fabric into fine art has been something I have always marvelled at!
Having the oppurtunity to collaborate with them for my Barbie™ x Megan Hess collection has been wonderful. Drawing upon the illustrations from my new book collection inspired by Barbie, Leo Lin has handcrafted two gorgeous designs that are currently on display at The Grounds until the 6th September!

Taking direct inspiration from the pages of my upcoming book, Barbie: A Fashion Icon, Leo Lin has interpreted my artwork and created two spectacular, real-world gowns.
These designs capture the timeless elegance that is the essence of Barbie, translating whimsical illustrations into breathtaking, high-fashion structural masterpieces that are brave, bold and fearless.
An Enchanting Moment at The Grounds
Wander through laneways filled with oversized bows, striking fashion installations, and a stunning real-world recreation of Barbie’s DreamHouse based on my illustrations. It is here, nestled within this pink wonderland, that these two magnificent creations are on display!
