Summer is slowly fading away and while I am looking forward to cool evenings curled up with a good book and a hot chocolate, I am going to miss those warm sunny days!
This month went so quickly, and while it was the shortest of the year, it was full of wonderful moments but my absolute highlight was Taylor Swift’s The Eras Concert! I am still buzzing from the excitement of it all.
This month’s favourites are all about my own Taylor Swift era!
1. THE OUTFIT
My favourite song of Taylor’s is The Last Great American Dynasty so I based my outfit on it! The song is about a lady, Rebekah, who “had a marvellous time ruining everything”. One of the things she does is dye her neighbour’s dog key-lime green so I made my very own t-shirt with the dog!
I also wore a whole bunch of friendship bracelets that my daughter, Gwyn, had made for us both! It was such a wonderful experience trading them with people at the concert.
2. THE SHOES
I paired the outfit with my Ralph Lauren trainers for comfort as, of course, I was dancing along!
3. THE SCENT
This is my favourite Valentino fragrance – Valentina Pink! It was a limited edition so I am not sure if it’s still available so I will be devastated when it runs out. It’s very sweet and energetic – it felt perfect for Taylor!
4. THE BAG
My gold YSL handbag finished my look for the concert – I’ve had this bag for a very long time and it’s one of my favourite handbags! It went so well with the gold writing on my shirt and I felt that Taylor deserved some gold.
5. WATCHING
A few weeks ago I saw Wonka at the cinema. It was very fun and not what I was I expecting at all!
6. EXCITED FOR…
I am looking forward to Taylor’s next album that has been announced – The Tortured Poets Department. I’m buzzing with excitement for its release – I’m literally counting down the days!
