An exclusive new print collection by Megan Hess…
Creating my most recent print collection, When the Stars Align, in complete self-isolation was certainly a different style of working that I, like many others, had to quickly adapt to. I often create illustrations that I hope evoke a sense of escapism, but especially during this time I wanted to create something that really transports the viewer to a world of horoscopes that they hadn’t experienced before.
I have always been so intrigued by the world of Astrology, but I didn’t know much about each star sign and their attributes. So, what better time to take a deep dive into all things horoscopes than during this period of self-isolation. I was so inspired by this mystifying universe that I started to draw each star sign, interpreted in my signature illustrating style… how very Aries of me! This led to me creating the When the Stars Align print collection, with each star sign recreated with one of my chic characters to represent certain elements of the sign.
